| Bantam President needed |
| The
Bantam League is looking for someone to step forward to take on
the role of President for 2010. Bob Barrett and I, who did this
in 2009, are moving on to Midget level. We have put together a
'to do' list that a new president would be able to follow for
the upcoming year. I know the Blue Jays did this in 2009 and Mark Loran the previous couple of years. We need to have a year-end wind-up meeting which also signals the start of the planning for the next year. This needs to happen before the new year or else everything hits at once and it becomes hard to plan accordingly. So, for all you parents who are in Bantam, we need someone to step forward. It could be you or someone you know, or a couple of you together. That worked well for us in 2009 as it lightens the load for all involved. Please pass this email on to as many people as you know. As you are aware, if no one steps forward it is the kids who will not have a league to play in. Thanks, |
